NEW ZX-14- in the stable VERY soon!

Congradulations! This bike is more than awesome. I bought the 2008 midnight sapphire blue about 5 weeks ago. The bike handles exceptionally. The engine is smooth as silk as is the transmission. I broke her in like kawasaki said. After 1k miles you can let her rip. :yahoo: This bike kicks...

Family dog of 16 years gone

I feel your pain. My wife and I had to put our beloved dog LaBella down in July. We had her 13 years and then she got cancer. We both were with her when she had the lethal injection. Knowing that she had a great life makes it all worthwhile!

    On call Christmas Day-Excellent Ride.

Its Christmas morning about 7:20am EST. I work for AT&T and I'm on call today. The good news is that I'm headed for the Smokey Mountains on the 28th for 10 days. But workin Christmas Day is not that bad when you get to ride your FJR into work ( Nobody on the road, 56 degrees and a lite shower)...

    Busa & ZX14 Hyper bikes

Here's a twist on the subject. I can have the time of my life sittiing in the garage with my FJR and ZX14, a six pack of beer and good tunes in the background , fully aware of the awesome performances that these bikes unleash.

5500 trip and I need perform oil change at 4000 miles

Just take it to a dealer thats on your route for an oil change if its going to bother you. My opinion though is that you can wait till you get back to do the change.

    FJR has a new sister!

:yahoo: Well, I bought a 2008 ZX14 last saturday. I've been looking around for the best price and decided to buy from Orlando Kawasaki/Yamaha. If your looking for a brand new cheap 2006 model in blue or red, they have 13 of them they need to unload. The story is they ordered a bunch of them and...

    Who owns a speed triple?

I recently posted a topic regarding the Busa or the ZX14 . I'm ready to add another bike to the arsinal. A response came back that I should consider the Triumph Speed Triple. I was wondering how many of you on the forum own this bike and ,if so, what are the pros and cons of this machine. I...

Got the green light for busa or zx14, help!

Interesting. There is a Triumph dealer here and I'll check it out. The bike does have an excellent review.

Got the green light for busa or zx14, help!

Thanks for all the input. Although both bikes look great, I prefer the looks of the zx14 better. It sounds like the zx14 is the most comfortable of the 2 bikes for a 6'1" large frame like myself. But the cracked frames on the zx14's are definitely a concern. The way I'm thinking is a 2008...

It has been so long now

Stop the negative thinking. I often wonder why Deer and Armidillos cannot adjust to natural selection ( stay the hell off the road )! You can't compare the FJR to a Harley - they're 2 different animals. The good news is that ,by statistics , you're chances of getting into another mishap are slim.

Got the green light for busa or zx14, help!

I'm, 6'1" 225lbs. Looking for crank in every gear. Yes, I have knowledge of the cracked frame problems for the ZX. Warchild's Busa looks awesome. So far, it looks like the Busa is the way to go. ;)

Got the green light for busa or zx14, help!

 My wife has finally agreed that I can have a 2nd bike. My 2005 FJR stays. Question is : I will be choosing between the Kawasaki ZX14 or the Suzuki Busa - both 2008 or 2007 models or possibly another bike depending on response from the forum. Any educated opinions are appreciated...
