Congrats on the new ride. I am considering the Tracer GT as a replacement for my FJR for the same reasons you stated.

Same here. We moved from TX to TN last summer and recall notice was forwarded to new address. Now, I just have to find the nearest dealer and get it scheduled. For those wanting to change themselves word is, since this is a safety recall the dealer will not give you the part and will not clear...

O.K. here is a hint: This 'route' appears on Google Maps crossing a large freshwater lake. During the crossing, you reach a point where no land is in sight.  Wisconsin fans will know the name of the boat.

I had a 2009 Bandit 1250. It is a nice bike and the main reason I got rid of it was to get more wind protection and cruise control. IMHO, the stock seat is horrible and the stock windscreen is too short for me, I am 6' tall. Both easy to fix and I will say the stock FJR is no better than the...
