One subtle thing you all are overlooking is the 10# impact of the lighter battery on the CG and some what the handling of the bike. I know when I fill the fuel tank there is definitely a 'top heavy' feel compared to say a half tank of fuel. 10# is what, about 1 1/4 gal of equivalent fuel...

FYI, I just finished installing a GiVi SR346 Rack and Givi E55 top box on my 05' FJR. The rack came with 1/2 spacers for the two front bolts and all other alignments were perfect. No fuss no stress!

I did check that both the physical and electrical ground connection was good and it is (has been for 6 years!) connected directly to the negative post of the battery.

I've seen raw fuel out the tail pipes just before I lit the after burners (F/A-18 Hornet that is!!!).

I have a question re thr Russell seats. Currently I have a Corbin and have a little difficulty flat footing it at a stop. Will the Russell make that worse?

If you look at their web site you'll notice they also sell a slick matching bar end weight that is the cats meow. Good looking grips that absolutely reduce vibration as well.

I am trying to find a source for these grips. It seems like they may not be in production any longer. Anyone on here have any ideas where to purchase? Thanks!
