I don't know if they're still doing it, but several months ago, Autozone was offering them for < $30 each on clearance. Most locations seemed to have one or two "in the back", the trick was getting them to care enough to look for it. That's how I got mine.

+1 I do have both the Top Gun bar ends and skyway's sliders on my '05, and I think they look nice together. They are not exactly the same color, the aluminum silver of the sliders is lighter in tone than the stainless bar ends, but they are close enough to still look great together. I'll see if...

Skyway, I took your post to mean you have more than one pre-06 pair of the aluminum bobbins left. If you have only one pair remaining, please send them to MikeYork5, since he spoke up first. Wasn't trying to break in line, I can wait for the next batch if need be. :)

Rad, don't stop with the tech advice. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have gotten some critical advice (at the time :) ) on removing/replacing the generator cover, because no one else was answering. Without the confidence your advice gave me, I might be paying big bucks for my maintenance...
