Hopefully this wasn't someone on here!

Hard to tell what that poor bike went through??

Must see pictures.

Also saw two side bag covers if anyone is up for a project or needs some spares.

First off, I'd like to know exactly what hit the fuel tank from behind. I really hope the rider didn't put that dent in it. Yeouch!

Second, color me stupid, but why are the fair pieces silver with a sticker on them showing a 03/05 build date?? Something isn't right. Especially since the rest of the bike is the faster blue.

The seller bought it to fix up and has been collecting the pieces necessary to do so, which he is including. So that's where the mismatch between the colors and the year come from.

I was more wondering why the silver peice had a date of 05 on it......unless they are still making the 04 silver for replacment parts. Seems more likely since the plastic is the same that the parts would be painted after they are built.

I think the sticker is on the frame, which was silver on the blue bikes, too.

That's what I found most interesting/disturbing...

What could have caused that damage to the tank, exhaust headers & radiator, while at the same time apparently leaving the front wheel and forks unharmed?

Looks like maybe the tank hit a guard rail end or post or something like that while sliding.

Looks like they were trying to make one of those new curved radiators like the '06's have too..... Wasn't there someone here who was trying to make a naked FJ???? This would make a good starter.
