Anyone use the Shad SH50? I have a 2008 FJR and I can get the Shad SH46 fittings in the UK, but the SH50 seems to be a problem. Do they sell one in the U.S.A./ Canada?

I agree with the above. The only reason to take it easy for the first few miles is to take the shine off the new tyres. (important if you live on a cold wet rock like us in the British Isles ;) )

Thanks for the replies. They are a silly amount of money. I can't see how good they can be that far from the bars. I would need them for the cold, the Aussi's need them to keep the bugs off. I will have a look at the guards form the VStrom as well.

Hi, I am trying to relace the OE screen on my 2008. How do I remove the "W" trim? I seems to be cliped on. I have managed to get the bottom free, but this seems to make the top even harder to shift :unsure: Thanks, Chris

I fail to see the need for a button. On a recent trip to the Alpes I was on a mountain pass with lots of hairpins. On a hard left hander the button hit the tank bag. Made the next right hander very interesting.
