    GIVI E52 Maxia

Just ordered the E52 (and the helibar triple clamp). Looking forward to the extra space and comfort.... Thank you for all the replies. I need to be able to store my suit in the top box or I'd just stick with the side bags and a backpack (to carry the suit when I get to the destination...a big...

    GIVI E52 Maxia

Curious if a Givi E52 Maxia will fit an Aerostich Roadcrafter suit (42R). I use the bike to commute and it would be nice to throw the suit in a top box when I get to work.... Thanks for any replies....

How many miles are people getting out of their brake pads? I know it varies by weight and riding style, but some quick numbers would be great.

    Mature Riders and FJR's

I'm 26 and bought my FJR as my third street bike (new 06A in 07 -4,000 miles ago). I am very pleased with its' performance. On a track I'm sure you could do better, but the bike holds it own on the road, straight or otherwise.

    2007 Yamaha WR450F or 2007 Honda CRF450X

Everything that I have heard and read makes me think that the Honda will cost more to own in the long run. If money is no object then the Honda looks nice....the Yamaha is a great bike. I have ridden a YZ450, which is similar to the WR, and it was very fast and hooked up perfectly (I still ride...

    Throttle spring

What's the downside. Why hasnt Yamaha done this already? Liability seems similar either way.....

    Took the plunge

I think you will love the bike. I ride in below freezing temps often, even here in California (for only about 30 mins). Just wanted to ask you, are you wearing riding pants? Before I got mine a year ago, things were much colder. I also did the same commute daily, rain or shine, on an FZ6, which...

How about a saftey tip from each member?

I will say it even though it should be too obvious: know how to counter-steer (turn your bike properly).

The ST market and the FJR

I see both sides of the issue as vaild. Supply may be up, demand could go down (?). Time will tell what the market will do. Either way, the FJR remains a great bike. I just bought mine, knowing of the other options (even/especially the new Kawi) and am very happy with my decision. I am only 26...
