It was a great ride with a great turnout! Improvised rides are often the best ones. Thanks MM2 for getting this started and thank you Old Michael for watching the flock, the photography and picking up the pieces that fell off . . . . :clapping:
MM2 - What piccies?
Okay. The forecast is bad for the mountains. Snow level tonight and tomorrow is 5500 feet. Snow accumulations 3-5" at the higher elevations. It will be snowing until midnight with a chance of snow showers after midnight. Lows 23-33 at higher elevations.
There is also a chance of rain...
My son picked this weekend to go camping at Icehouse. He reported snow this morning with rain showers forecast for today. I think this leaves the high mountain passes out of the equation. If snow was sticking on the roadways we will have fresh sand or sand/salt to deal with.
Anyway, Karen...
Good news. At least we don't have to plan an emergency group ride to your place to help you move belongings. The Santa Cruz mountains is a big place.
Now we will return to the regularly scheduled programing . . . .
Bummer. Is that red paint transfer on your mirror from a red curb or a red car?
If it is from a red car then there should be a corresponding paint transfer on it. Just a thought.
If you want to go onto a track sometime I understand many REQUIRE 1 piece suits.
Also, if you are one of those construction guys with no butt, walking around showing your crack -- get a one piece, PLEASE!!
My experience is that the factory plugs will do 8k easy. I have since changed to iridiums and with changes every 12k. If it ain't broke, don't fubar it.
This is one reason I run on Avons. If the tire is rather new the company will replace the tire free (you will still pay for mounting and balancing). New tires seem to have nail magnets -- I can't explain why but they do.
Good save!
Hey you Street Masters Grads -- thanks for sharing. How about demonstrating the technique on our next ride for those of us who couldn't make it?
Well done guys! :clapping:
