Made a video of my 1500 mile ride in 36 hours

dcarver asked about the camera set up. 5.25" ram ball "arm", steering nut with ram ball mount, ram ball mount to connect to vid. camera/ or camera. Just add a video camera and you're set. Mine has digital video tapes that are 1 hour long. Perfect for this I think. The only thing I'd do...

Made a video of my 1500 mile ride in 36 hours

Thanks guys for the kind words. The music I had picked out REALLY made it better but still, I had a blast in doing the editing. 1 hour of video cut down to 5 minutes. I'll try to snap a photo of the camera set up to show how I did it. It's my wife's video camera. Although it worked well...

Made a video of my 1500 mile ride in 36 hours

Thanks! Mounted the camera on a Ram mount attached to the steering stem. Worked well. Darn bugs though. Couldn't clean the windshield often enough. Had some awesome music picked out but hey, oh well. Still cool to share with everyone. Yup, the weather was decent. Did pass through some...

Made a video of my 1500 mile ride in 36 hours

Hey All ! Mounted a video camera on my FJR and set out for a long, long ride. Completed 3800 miles in 6 days. The first 36 hours was the Bun Burner challenge (1500 miles in 36 hours) I used a software program that my wife purchased to make a video. Certain powers that be did not approve of...

    Allstates Repulsive Ad Campaign

I also agree. I'm also an MSF instructor and believe riders need to be aware of the risks of riding and with that, promote responsible riding and wearing protective gear. If it makes someone reflect and positively change their behavior and decide to start wearing gear, I'm all for it. As...

    Yes they were not.

The other day, I was tinkering with the FJR and went to remove the bags. The right bag had lost both screws to the lock!! Basically, the lock was just laying there. Wish I had read the forum earlier and may have prevented losing the screws. When I purchased my 07 new, they gave me another...

    Parenting Isn't For Cowards

Your daughter has a father who loves her. That's half the battle. You are in our prayers. I have a daughter who will be 16 very shortly and one that is 9. They are my world so I have a clue how you feel. Continue to give her your support, love and prayers. We are at your side.

    Moto-Vation sliders

Two drops on my 07 FJR and both times, the motovation sliders saved me from serious damage. Well worth the money in my opinion. No problems with them and only good things to say.

Dropped my 07 FJR today, need right foot peg, what years interchangeable?

Hey Thanks. Parts for the footpeg should be here by the end of the week. As for the saddlebag cover. I'll have to keep my eyes out for an 07 Right side bag or lid cover. It's a bummer but hey, could have been worse.

Dropped my 07 FJR today, need right foot peg, what years interchangeable?

Hey Guys!, Went for a ride with my wife today for our 19th wedding anniversary. We were down in Savanna, IL. I went to stop at the curb on a hill and the ground was slippery and I lost my footing. We got out of the way and my beloved FJR fell on it's right side, breaking my front right foot...

How old are you FJR riders?

Age 42 / wife rides probably 3% of the time. It would be less time if I hadn't purchased a Russell Daylong passenger seat.
