Same thing happened to me. Turns out the fork oil was spewing all over the brake line, And running down to the caliper. Ran a SealMate around forks. All is good.

Had my iphone in the clear pouch on the tank bag. Temps in the 80's, but iphone message said "overheat alarm". Put phone in shade, and it cooled down enough to use.
