The Gen 1 stock dog bones are longer by close to an inch vs Gen II & III as I recall.

They look like stock dog bones, can you read the stamped part number in the middle of them? Should be the same number on both.on Gen 3 the number is 1MD and center to center is roughly 7 5/8 for stock Dog Bone...

If you have a first Gen I FJR that is the kit that was applied to the Top box to keep it from bouncing off. It was applied to the top box to prevent it from flexing & is an available recall if it was not already completed. Gen II & Gen III models had it corrected in manufacturing.

We have been known to accept 3 wheelers also

I do know quite a few guys are running them with no issues. I ran them in my 05 & would have no issues putting them in my 2014 when the time comes.

The tech at NGK says it will work but the electrode is a little shorter but makes up for its shortage with less resistance to fire as I understood it.

OK after conversing with my dealer it is in fact screwed on with 3 very small hex screws & no adhesive. It is the flex of the other 2 screws holding it on that are making it feel like an adhesive contact. How some have had these blow off I am unsure of. I cant explain how mine broke but it is...
