Concur with the comments above... it's a nice bucolic road through some lush greenery, but there's a good bit of LEO presence, and the curves aren't anything to write home about. If you're not in a rush, and it's going your direction, it's a fun road... but it won't change your motorcycling life.

So if you get a tire puncture, do all the beads shoot out the opening? If you patch it with sticky strings, do the beads stick to the string shoved inside the tire?

Were you planning on crash testing the mount for the bottle before, during, or after the rally? Maybe some combination of the three? Call and let me know if you need me to hit the hardware store for some windshield screws...

Believe me when I say this in all sincerity, there is no way in hell you should take an FJR over Ophir pass. If you put a gun to my head, and told me I'd have to take one of my children over that pass on the bike... I'd take the bullet. How do I know this? Because I was stupid enough to do it...
