I find the 06A throttle much too hard. The bike has lots of power, so this may be a design and it's fine in around town, but on hiways it's unnecessary. How do I lighten up the springs? Replace them and that's it? What are the side effects in terms of safety?

I think that's legal CYA. BMW's sell with top cases AND saddlebags. For LD touring, both are needed to carry stuff safely without hanging stuff off your bike or in backpacks! B)
