Just Curious how many miles did you have on your bike before you replaced the stock shock?

Right after I ordered my 05 and a half a friend of mine with yamahahaha said that the FJR was going to have some changes for 06 ect. At first I was wondering what those changes were and should I have waited. From what I see the changes were small at best. The only thing that really stands out...

Found the right bulb late at night at the auto parts store. Now I can go for my two day ride leave first thing in the morning with out any issues. I always like easy fixes. Thanks for your help. It beats reading the manual.

I got it out Thanks, is it common bulb, or can get at walmart or do I have to go to the cycle shop.

Mike are you saying you remove the bulb from behind the fairing or can you just remove the lens cover to get to the bulb. Thanks matt I also have a Gen 1 thanks.

Just noticed my amber driving light on the front fairing left side is burned out. The turn signal works but not the amber light just when the ignition is on. Is just the bulb burned out and how do you remove that lens cover to replace the bulb. Thanks for you help.

This subject brings up a question I had on the Storms I have on my bike. I like them and plan on getting another set. I have about 4000 on then and rear is just showing the wear bars. They handle great with zero issues. What is your recommendation should I replace them now or how many more...

I hit the wear bars on my storms the rear at about 4000 miles. The front looks and feels great. I hate to swap them not quit yet. How far have you dudes ridden into the wear bars on Storms! I will get another pair I really like the feel of them. Great grip and very predictable.

I have a K@N installed on my FJR and most of my vehicles. Like them because I can reuse them. I am still skeptical about any performance gains. It kind of reminds me of oil additive claims.

I never never never neeeeeeeeeeever use my side stand. And never will.

I have owned a lot of dirt and street rides. My FJR always puts a big grin on my face every time I ride it. Speaking of the CR have you seen the new YZ450. Exhaust out the rear full injection in the front of the cylinder, thats the way. Think of an inline 4 cylinder like the FJR set up that way...
