    50 weight engine oil

Car, maybe, bike, never. But you knew that. 0-20 is purely CAFE driven, although new motors have very close tolerances these days. 5-30 is as low as I'll run in a car, 10-30 preferable in warm weather. Have run 15-50 M1 in Frank forever, he loves the stuff. 10-40 M1 in cold weather eases...

    Escort Radar Detector rain cover

Best thing about the baggies is the Legal cover works, but is a PITA, especially on iffy days. It isolates the controls, and if it's not raining, just gets in the way. The baggie, on the other hand, allows access to the controls, is easily attached with just a wire tie, or, as I use, a thick...

    Two piece spark plug cap

Any 7mm or 8mm (not sure which right now) solid core wire will work-NAPA and other parts stores have bulk plug wire, used on small engine and industrial motors. Got it-I have it, pm your addy and I'll get it off, send me a check when ya can.

    Two piece spark plug cap

Actually, those wires are replaceable, it's just not a quick unplug-plug in kinda deal. Release the retainer and they unscrew just like the caps.

When I get home I'll look through my pile. Cheap, but not free-I've given away far too much already, and CFO is gettin torqued.

    Fork oil change??

Agree. I change yearly, and if appearance is an indicator, it's time. The trannie fluid works great, I use 3M 8880 brake clean, as I get it cheap enough where using several cans is no biggie. Pump the forks a couple times, use the rod to cycle the valving, both with fluid in and dry-no more...

    Suggested shortcuts for coolant change

I just drain it, then start the engine and run until steam stops shooting out. Never any problems.

    electrosport problem

Any of the three can go to any of the terminals. 3 phase, 3 wires, each the same output. Heat is generally created by resistance, so clean well made connections are a must. The other heat generator is load related, unlikely in this type of system, since it just dumps unused power to ground...

    Wicked Vibration at Right Handgrip

There was always a definite difference in Franks smoothness between ambient cold and hot. Horsiepower difference too. I think once again the FJR's Commodore 64 based fuel management system is to blame.
