    Barb's new toy

The only news here is that Barb finally bought a cruiser. Barbie, you've been battling that knee for too long. Sorry there was no fix that kept thing "happy" on the FJR but, "C'est la vie." Once you and Norm became an item and he rides a Harley, it was only a matter of time. I'm with you...

    Sexiest Sportbike

Sexiest sport-bike? Bike...shmike...it depends on the MODEL photographed with the bike. Annndddd....long-legged blondes, oh my! Can you say, "High Maintenance"? How about, "Leave you stranded"? For all the reasons Redfish Hunter posted, you don't actually "own" one, they own you! B-b-b-but...

GEN I GEN II Mufflers Interchangeable?

I dunno!?!?!? Maybe he got one of the French restrictor-plate de-tuned engines that Yamaha uses when their production supplies run low. ;)

    Is Repair Worth It

When I saw your opening post I had the same thoughts that Gary posted. Some of us are comfortable working on our bikes and have the space in our garage to do so. Others...not so much. Have you considered DJB's offer in post #13? If nothing else, you would be better informed as to what it...

    Midnight Ride

The most frightening thought: Don actually has these photos at his disposal AND he goes through them to choose the one he wants to post! :o

I took my FJR to a Harley dealer open house party yesterday

Yep! Gunny! Amen! This topic comes up now and again. C'mon, it's near the end of Winter and most motorcycle owners have been couped up. Now they're feeling their oats and their pride of ownership. It's be a huge mistake to think that all dealers or owners mirror what yo've experienced this...

    Foxy Lady

Yebbuttttt......IIRC, she was jogging on a wilderness bike trail at dusk. Uhmmmmm.....DOH!! Freakin' city-dwellers move to the country (In this case, the Sierra foothills and gold country) and expect the wildlife to conform to their schedule and activities. Good luck with that!

Forum friends to riding buddies to ....

And you are expecting someone to confess possession of the souveniers? Since a certain photo was up for bid at WCR, I wonder what said unmentionables might be worth at NAFO? :o Jist sayin'...... ;)

    RTE Lunch with RogDeb

Y'know....I HATE the issues with posting on this forum! 2nd attempt:   Adding some photos to what Doug already posted. It was a great time. Somehow the Sacramento Valley folks don't NEED to center some social time around a ride. It really is about the people and I'm lucky to belong this...

    Credit/debit card readers

My bank shut off my credit card a few weeks ago because of unusual activity. I now have mine in a tin-foil sleeve.

    Who Needs FZ-1 Mirrors?

I think the OP is responsible for the personal responses now being tendered on this thread. NOBODY has ever said you MUST use FZ-1 mirrors. At least not in the short time I've been reading and responding on 4 different FJR websites. The FZ-1 mirror conversions group was led by ffmedic, IIRC...

    KrZy8 Engine Swap Day

    NorCal Lunch with Rogdebs 3/24

Accuweather keeps moving the expected rain an hour at a time. Now it's forecast by 1:00 PM...which means riding home into the storm. I am also watching their prediction....

    NorCal Lunch with Rogdebs 3/24

Good on you, Ray! :clapping: If we were closer we'd bring some great barbecue by for your lunch. Don's a great host so I'm guessing there'll be some fine eating and sipping of adult beverages while sitting on the deck in the evening.

    NorCal Lunch with Rogdebs 3/24

Ride to Eat may be out as the forecast is for rain, however.....this will be a chance for the Sacramento area folks to enjoy a nice lunch. Actually, I've been emailing the Rogdebs about meeting someplace for lunch and it was decided to make it a SacValley Lunch so everyone can enjoy the time...
