It definatley imporves input from countersteering. Much more responsive. I noticed a difference as well when I installed mine.

Here's what probably happened. You can lock the bag underneath the tab part with the key lock (that you pull to allow the bag to open). If you mess with the bag, you'll see what I mean. It looks like it is locked, but it's just stuck to the other release part insted of locked in the locking...

I've got PR2's on the blackbird. About 4500 miles on them, and the rear looks like it will go at least another 1000. I'll be interested to see how many miles you get out of them on the feej. If you get 5k I'll be seriously impressed!

Looks like I have to remove this bolt here It runs to here, not sure how this comes apart. So, does this mean I need a whole new brake line, or just this one section? I've never replaced brake lines before. Doesn't look to be too tough of a job, but anything I should know?

I'm guessing 2010 as well. They spent a lot of time and money on the R1 upgrades. Probably didn't leave much in the budge for the R&D on the FJR. The FJR pretty much already competes on fairly level ground with the C14, so I don't think they will be hard pressed to really do much anyway.

Not identical problem, but I will add, I have HID on my blackbird. Now that the battery is getting low, upon startup, they won't always light up. If I increase rpm's to 2000-2500, they light right up. I beleive battery draw might play into this. Might want to get a volt meter and check it out.

You are undeniably some sort of freak! :P I rode my blackbird (with VFR bars and a corbin seat) for 400 miles Saturday, and I thought I was going to die. I stated several times to myself, how the hell does Warchild do it?

Any color will do, it's going to get painted anyway. Mild damage not an issue, just need all (or most) of the mounting tabs to be intact.

Anyone have either of those? I don't need the actual footpeg for the rear, just the mount bracket that mounts to the subframe and holds the exhaust.
