    Front Axle/Fork "Bounce"/Pinch Bolt Sequence

I've always done it, just because that was everyone said to do, but last time, I was in a hurry. I installed the tire, didn't but it against a wall before tightening the pinch bolt. 1500 miles later, nothing broke.... yet....

How to remove the 08 gas tank

It's pretty much the same, except for the heat shield. Pop out those 2 screws, then use a 12mm socket and a wrench to secure the second bolt at the base of the tank. Just loosen the left bolt with the socket while you secure the right bolt with the wrench. It will then pivot. You'll need to...

Dragon claims 67 year old triker

Well, that's what I'm trying to say. I'm not trying to point fingers at this guy, god knows I've ridden too fast on the gap.... But it bugs me that because it was a trike and he was 67, the cop deduces, "speed was not a factor." If he lifted a wheel, of coarse speed was a factor... Hope the...

    Another ticker. Oh goody gumdrops!!

Begs, Has your exhaust got oil in it? Might be premature, but many tickers have oil residue, as the oil will get through as a result of the excessive valve guid wear. Also, there is a ticking sound byte here. I think it's still up, i can't check from work, site blocked. clicky I thought...

    Pressure at the pump

I always just grab a few paper towels which are usually conveniently located right next to the pump. Fill er up, and as I need to start pulling the nozzel out, I secure it with a few paper towels around the nozzel. Prevents any splashback for me.

Dragon claims 67 year old triker

That sucks.... I'm not being mean, but I don't get this. "Smith lost control when his rear tire raised up while driving through a curve." followe later by, "speed was not a factor in the cause of the accident." So trikes just lift up a rear wheel on turns all the time?

    Steering Head Maintenance

I've seen it done with a screwdriver and rubber mallet, but the spanner tool is probably the recommended way.

Actually gave a Panhandler some money

I usually have a very strict no giving money to beggers policy. Yesterday was an exception. I come out of a store downtown, and this guy approaches me and says, "Nice shoes you got there." He proceeds to tell me he will bet me that he can tell exactly where I got the shoes. "I can tell you...
