Had an old Motion Pro economy model for a few years; just replaced it this year with a Carbtune that I bought online from the U.K. Delivery was pretty quick. I like the Carbtune a lot. Even with a weak U.S. dollar, I think it's quality makes it a good value.

Great post, jet mechanic. One of my favorite parts of teaching the BRC is discussing Common Riding Situations and the interactive video that accompanies that section. The students watch several short video clips (from a riders point of view) and they must decide how to react to potentially...

Ditto...Occaisionally, I'll slip it into a home made padded pouch in the glove box to charge since the battery life is less than stellar. I also have my Zumo wired to my StarCom system.

+1 on the silk glove liner idea. They bridge the gap between just using everyday gloves and having to fire up the Gerbings, without the expense of another pair of gloves.

The 2x4 idea was addressed in post #5... Regarding Bounce's Law, I think Jon has also addressed that by already buying a second centerstand which he'll shorten and replace the original centerstand with. And if I know Jon, once he completes the project, he'll produce exceptionally well-detailed...
