How do you recognise a 2006 plus model

Quickest way is to look at the mirrors. Gen I has a single arm going out to the mirror while the Gen II's have a double arm.

    Signal light lens condensation

No such thing as "condensation" inside a light. If you have water in there, you have a leak somewhere.....it's that simple.

    2003 FJR Exhaust

For what it's worth, the Gen I and Gen II headers are interchangeable. You'll have to change out the Oxygen sensor to the correct one is the only difference.

At my age I sorta expect to have one that's a bit limp. In fact a stiff one would be a major suprise. Don't know what I'd do with one of those? jim

Plenty of time to look at the scenery. The 35 is posted 10 miles up the road. Two up, wet day, came out of 5 miles of twisties to a long straight and TN HP was at the end of the straight off the road i.e. not visible. 50 on that strech of road was a long ways from being a hooligan. At 69 I...

I have an issue with tank bags and need a new one.

Not to hyjak the thread, but does anyone use a waterproof tank bag? Always seemed dumb to me to have to stop and put on a waterproof cover over a tank bag when it could have been made from waterproof material all along.

    NEED YOUR HELP

Fred's advice in post #16 is right on. 219 thru West-by-God Virginia is not to be missed. I'd also add Camden, ME as a "typical" lovely ME coastal city to see.

FJR vs Concourse: Which in these areas???

I own a 2003 GenI FJR and in December rode a 2008 Connie 2 up for a month in NZ. Biggest difference for me was that the Connie liked to go straight, while my FJR loves to turn. I'd guess most of this may be the 190 rear on the Connie, but could have been the rake and trail? The other difference...
