    My Mirror Mod

mattster31, Good to know what may/may not fit. Great info. I remember changing out those round FZR1000 mirrors on my '93 for the "NEW" rectangle styled ones that came on the '94s. I am guessing those would fit the FJR too. WW

    CDogman's Airbox Mod & CO's

Sport, I would say that you could very well have been a bit lean. You really need to sniff the AFR of your bike (under load) to know. No bike runs the exact same from the factory. The same model and year bikes (still run different) along with different climates and elevations make for...

    Steel Dogbones on Ebay!

Fred, Thanks, I will keep you posted. I am thinking that if my bike had come with 5/8ths more clearance... I may not have been melting the peg feelers (As much) . I keep my suspension dialed up pretty stiff and the feelers are the only hard parts I scrape. Time will tell and I will pass...

    Steel Dogbones on Ebay!

Ok.. Got it done. Turns out the company selling these on Ebay does also sell a set of riser bones for the Gen II that is only a 5/8th's raise. I will report back how these work out. I am hoping that they will give me just enough added corner clearance without changing the speed stability...

    Steel Dogbones on Ebay!

Fred, I agree... I am only looking to gain some more clearance in the twisties. I do not want this enough to give up the FJR's rock solid stability though. WW

    Steel Dogbones on Ebay!

For those who have raised their tail section 1 - 1.5... Has this rear raise ever become a problem with any handling? I realize that raising the rear is suppose to increase your turn in (which I don't mind). Anyone have input regarding?? WW

    Buying a new TV

What about the DLP's? They have a great picture and have better contrast ratios (deeper darks) ranges than most LCD's. A DLP set will last a lifetime. Never any color fading (Plasma), no way to get dead pixels (LCD) and never any picture burn in. The downside is every few years you do have...

    Stripped bolt and fix

Texan, Glad to hear your ok. Also double glad you had on some proper gear. Man... I hate to say it but I think you gots a lot more damage than just $700.. Depending on your insurance, I have seen bikes get TOTALLED with less damage... You'd be surprized what them OEM plastics go for and the...

    Baby's New Cloths

I agree.. The two colors go great together...... Though, its seems like you should add some of that copper to at least the upper fairing and tank too. Do the wheels also and it would really look complete. Right now it only looks half done to me. WW
