If by "Players list" you mean attendees, as of today I'm in for my first FJR rally. I have a room booked for Thur. arrival but haven't actually finalized my departure date so that might slip into Fri night.
That looked like a pretty good pace down a nasty dirt road! I'll ride those by accident when I'm exploring near home but not at that pace and especially not when I'm ~3,000 miles from home (or the finish). Brave man!
Very nice, I was just oogling that bike at the dealer yesterday. I left thinking my GenII is running strong but I could just move the seat, shock, and forks over and be good to go, I think.

Well that clears that up for me; AND is very contrary to my touring eating habits which usually involves sausage gravy and biscuits in the AM; beer, steak, and potatoes in the PM.

I'm 6'6" 35" waist with a 36" inseam. I can get away with Tall sized jackets from Firstgear but was never able to find proper fitting pants.
Try motoport.com. You'll get a great fitting protective pant. A bit pricey but they are full-custom. I recommend these...
