    Inside the exhaust

I don't plan on cleaning anything in there for that reason alone. I think I can be sure this one is not a "ticker". I am tempted to go all the way and yank the cylinders off.....etc....... but past experience has shown me............."if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

    valves shims CAM PHOTO!

Great idea Busta!! Once I pull the cams out and see what the numbers are I will post up what I need. Perhaps a few members might have a one or two. I can get them for $5 online, so it's not too bad......although I do need 16.

Help needed for Iron Butt Rally - Wheels!

Don't knock it till ya try it eh...........throw a new PR2 on the front with a Michelin Exalto on the back, and you won't have to worry about tire changes at all. FWIW :-) Best of luck though.......I'm very jealous.

    Going to the Dark Side

I rode RaYzermans when he tried my CT and I did notice it felt more responsive, but it only took 1 corner to re-adjust.

    Going to the Dark Side

I run 30 psi, and I weigh 180, rarely have a passenger, and load the bags frequently. I've tried 35 (too stiff) and 25 is way too loose. So baby bear felt that 30 is just right :-)

    Going to the Dark Side

Thanks for the link Ray!! some very interesting reading......(yes I shamelessly stole my new avatar from the site)I'm not sure I'll go back to a Moto tire myself. Working on planning a trip out to Goose Bay and back through Newfoundland. BTW.....rode into work last Saturday to give her a final...

    Going to the Dark Side

You won't regret the Exalto. I only have 7K (kms) on mine but still looks new, and I am very happy with it. Rides just like a Moto tire. My buddies are afraid to try it.............they think I've been to see a witch doctor. It's funny how their response changes after they get left behind in the...

    the cherohala skyway 1750

I think you should put it back up.......I thought it was funny. Having only ridden the Dragon and the Cherohala once (the best roads ever IMHO), I am unable to offer any advice other than to say, I think you'll have your work cut out for you to try and maintain 73mph (that's with no stops) on...

    Port Dover, Ontario

Sounds like we should arrange a group to ride down to Dover on the 13th. I've never actually been (to many Harleys....haha) but it would be fun in a group of FJR's.

    Going to the Dark Side

Bungie, If you're going to be in the Hamilton area anytime, send me a PM. You can ride mine with the Michelin Exalto. Me thinks there is a big difference even between CT's. I'll only be putting a moto tire back on for a multiday trip through the twisties...............otherwise, it's CT forever...
