I'm about to replace my pr5"s, after 10K miles, with another set. The front is about done, the rear still has 1k left. They have a weight rating the same as the PR1, 2, 3 and oem that came with the bike. I'm fine with that. I did 7000 fully loaded with camping gear and luggage on all types...

I'm late to the game here, but I have done that road on my 2005 a few years back and it was paved. Goat road, but paved. I was just running the pavement until it stopped starting from the Lake Orville side and ended up at La Porte. Some of it is Mill Road combination but it was paved.

Ray, I'm sorry to hear you are having issues, get well soon! With this group, the RR will be well taken care of, no need for you to worry. As for the Kawi, like Doug said, a little JB Weld will do just fine.

I looked at the high side pass 2 years ago, but I just couldn't do it. I did the dirt road instead. A bit rough in places then, I don't know how it is now.
I've been wondering about the 89. Two days ago the 89 was a full $1.00 more than the 87. I know they are small tanks, but still a full fill up would be an extra $5.00. I wonder if the flash would run any worse on 87?
Brian, I can use ear plugs. The rumor is, that I snore myself, but if that's not an issue for you, you are welcome to the second bed (cabin 3 has 2 beds, or at least it did last year).
