I think I've done enough mods with my FJR. Thought about the G2 but don't want to go through the hassle of the install. But maybe I'll revisit.

Test rode a BMW R1200R and K1200R this past weekend. I know after this that I'm not interested in the R1200R. But the K1200R is a really nice bike. Once thing that really stuck me was how SMOOTH the throttle was - no on/off "jerk" like on the FJR. I'm really disappointed now with my AE's...

That's one of the few good things about living in Los Angeles, I have three dealerships within 50 miles.

What do you like about it? How does it "compare" to the FJR?

Yeah, I'm aware of the "naked" look of the bike. That's what I like about it. I'm going tomorrow to see one. A local dealership has a black one. Good thing my FJR is in for service, no temptation to pull the trigger. ;) BTW, using regular gas in your FJR? I always use premium.

Congrats on the ZX10. I'm looking at this bike as a second "solo" bike for me. It's interesting you mentioned the lack of low end grunt. The articles on the web say that it was improved from the 06-07 models. It must have been really poor on the those bikes...

I wonder what it really does (O2 sensor). I say this because I had to take my AE in for another SH__48 code. Bike just stopped moving on me. The first time it happened I did not have the PCIII, second time I did. The dealership said they disconnected the PCIII to see if they could duplicate...

I should say I'm using the Wally/Holeshot combo map with my FJR.

Interesting, before my PCIII I would get around 45-47mpg with a 70-75mph cruising speed (which is right about 4k rpm). After my PCIII, I get around 42-44mpg. I do have the Remus exhaust on my 06AE now but I guess 42ish seems to be decent when cruising at 4,000 rpm. I will say that with my...
