FWIW- My Remus with the baffles in (installed) I feel is barely louder than stock. On the slab over about 50 mph, I can't see any difference. Which is exactly what I wanted!

Probably overkill, and my tendency to anal retentive about my FJR. I could have recycled the fluid to continue purging the system but I didn't want to take any chances as the vacuum reservior isn't pefectly clean.

Have you tried ebay for a new (used) wheel? Unless it is a very small bend for "peace of mind" reasons I would change it out. Bending back cast, machined aluminium isn't always the best idea.
