Larry: can we get a final count tomorrow? It's gotta be 50 people if it's 3.

08 Drive Shaft Splines and Grease

My 08 was good from the factory. The 05 was not. And it doesn't take much at all. Overdo it, and watch it all squeeze out and coat your wheel.

Looking for shortcut from I-75 to I-85 around Atlanta

Yeah, they like to tear up the roads around here in the wee hours and on weekends.

Looking for shortcut from I-75 to I-85 around Atlanta

Forget 6am -> 10am and 3:30pm -> 7pm M-F. And on a Friday, traffic usually starts getting bad at 2-3pm. Outside of that, watch www.myganv.com for construction alerts and traffic jams. If you have the ability to do AM radio, AM750 gives realtime traffic while you're in town. If traffic is...

GIVI or Yamaha top box comparo

Well done. I *love* my E52 on the 08. Had a V46 on my 05, and I'd put that closer to the capacity of the Yammy box.

    (Split) Motoport or Aerostich?

If your measurements aren't handled by something off the shelf (and in alot of cases with the 3/4 jacket, you fit in a stock size), Wayne will make a jacket for you. Yeah, it's made in china -- but by all accounts quality didn't suffer when he moved the bulk work offshore. And, for any custom...

    WTB Kenwood TK 3101 radio

The TK-3200LP is amazing, if you can get your group using that freq band. The radios are easier to get ahold of, and I can attest that they work extremely well around mountains, and in LOS situations, 3-4 miles easily.

    Power Comander on 2008

An emphatic YES here. The PC3 was the last hope for my 08 and its HORRIBLE throttle transition. Now, with the throttle spring relieved (has nothing to do with the abrupt transitions, only stiffness) and the PC3 on, the 08 throttle and behavior feels like my old 05 (I love the GenI throttles and...

You can get the whole kit made from 3M material, for a surcharge, right up front. Just call, they'll do it.

    Power Commander

Can you post your graph with A/F ?? I'd like to see what a 'tuner' did between stock and his program. Also, can you suck out your program (that he uploaded) and compare to the stock map Dynojet provides?

Guide to Removing the Air Induction System

Dude! I did this nearly exact procedure today. Had my PCIII to install, throttle spring mod to do and needed a TBS. I found the plugs at Lowes ($2.54), hose at AutoZone ($4.38). I used the original length hose from the airbox, but fit the non-CA plug in the other end. Seemed easier to me that...

    Hyper-Lites / remount question

Some 3M dual lock might work as well, that stuff holds extremely well, and you can reposition later by adding another piece.

Dynojet Power Commander (PCIII) Group Buy

I spoke with the vendor this morning, and the GenII units are in transit now, arriving at the vendor today or tomorrow. They'll be shipping out ASAP once they get 'em. Thanks Lar for another great GB with a stellar vendor (based on previous GB's). Edit: BTW, I cancelled my order with another...

Guide to Removing the Air Induction System

I've got a stupid question -- why did you do this? I'm sure the reason is in a post of yours somewhere, but can you restate or link in here? And, anyone for downsides to doing this? Caveats? Thanks!
