Harley-Davidson is going to discontinue Buell M/C line

A post-mortem article on Buell: the potential and the fate Sad. Really, really sad. What's even sadder..? What happened to leftover bikes at the factory: Had I known this was going to happen, I would have offered scrap value plus, say, 10% for a Uly. :glare:

    FJRF009.0: Ground Spider Research

That's a very good point, Fred. There'd be no ill effects in a lighting circuit, but in an instrumentation or sensor circuit, there could be. On second thought, I'd probalby advise against a secondary ground path just to avoid any potential problems...

    Rear fender lights from hell!

If it's a nice, big flashing red light you want, try this: Whelen M7 Super LED You think that'd get someone's attention..? (BTW: Whelen also makes a smaller version of this light. A friend put one on his Gold Wing. It's bright to say the least...)

    FJRF009.0: Ground Spider Research

RH: from a serviceability standpoint, your solution is almost ideal. From a practical standpoint, it's certainly less so. If doing away with the bridge connectors is the aim, then both you and Smitty are half right. The solution I'd recommend is removing the bridging connector, terminating each...

    2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Revealed

I've been keeping a sharp eye out for any mention of major service intervals for this bike, but so far nothing. As I said in an earlier post, the engine on which the new MTS' "Testastretta 11 (degree)" mill is based requires servicing every 7,500 miles. One would *hope* that owing to this motor...

    FJRF009.0: Ground Spider Research

Something to bear in mind regarding this issue is that these grounding "spider" connector blocks are a common item on both cars, trucks and motorcycles (albeit mostly Japanese made). It's not an FJR-specific connector by any means. A close friend whom is the service manager at an area Honda...
