That's a very good point, Fred. There'd be no ill effects in a lighting circuit, but in an instrumentation or sensor circuit, there could be. On second thought, I'd probalby advise against a secondary ground path just to avoid any potential problems...

Something to bear in mind regarding this issue is that these grounding "spider" connector blocks are a common item on both cars, trucks and motorcycles (albeit mostly Japanese made). It's not an FJR-specific connector by any means. A close friend whom is the service manager at an area Honda...
