    RIP ionbeam - 10/7/23

So sorry to hear this news. I knew Alan from our NERDS and Green/White Mountain rides here in VT and NH. His knowledge of the FJRs will be missed. My heart goes out to Helen. RIP Alan

    Mirror Wideners by SW Motech

I have these on my 2014 FJR and they are good. Not perfect but better than just the stock mirrors. And I had FZ-1 mirrors on my 2004 FJr and they were just a bit better then the extenders IMHO.

What's the Weather like where YOU are today?

30 degrees and lite snow. Good thing I can get out and ride my snowmobile or PMS would take over.

    Bikeeffects.com

I ordered a Sena 10s dual unit from Jeff and his service was OVER THE TOP! He called me a couple of times to answer my questions when e-mails would have done the job. Jeff is a CLASS ACT for sure.

NERDS IV - B2B (back to basics) - Stowe, VT 8/18-21/2016

Fred is correct about those two roads. I rode both of them early on and they were very rough and it was slow going. Have fun and stay safe. I'm off camping till Saturday.

    Vermont road construction

Found another route that is being worked on. RT 17 from the App Gap to Bristol culverts are being replaced and they are covered with dirt so it is SLOW going! Road is ROUGH anyway and it looks like they maybe repaving it later on.

    Vermont road construction

I found more places that are under "destruction" on our last ride. RT 100 1 mile south of where RT 17 and RT 100 intersect (Waitsfield) will be CLOSED from June 19th to July 26th for bridge replacement. Plus they are working in the Granville Gulf (near Moss Glen Falls) and it'll be one lane and...

    Vermont road construction

I found another on today's ride. RT 100 north of Weston, VT has bridge work June 3 to June 24. I saw covered signs that may be a detour. At best the bridge will be one lane. And I know there are more out there. Ride safe!

    Vermont road construction

I'm starting a list of the Vermont roads that I've found so far in my travels that are "under destruction/construction". 1: VT Route 12 between Bethel and Randolph. This is now a DIRT ROAD with TONS of pot holes (Fred W would love it)! Very slow going. Not sure it will be finished. 2: VT Route...

    MotoPumps

Thanks for the info Fred W. I guess I will just keep my Slime pump in the bike and change the fuse in my pigtail.

    MotoPumps

According to the write up in Rider the MotoPump will run with a 5 amp fuse in it. Just asking if anyone has used one. Sounds almost too good.

    MotoPumps

I read a review about MotoPumps in Rider magazine. They look good, need a small fuse (5 amp) and the review was good. Anybody here have any experience with them? I have a Slime pump but it needs a bigger fuse. TIA
