I'm starting a list of the Vermont roads that I've found so far in my travels that are "under destruction/construction".
1: VT Route 12 between Bethel and Randolph. This is now a DIRT ROAD with TONS of pot holes (Fred W would love it)! Very slow going. Not sure it will be finished.
2: VT Route 125 between Middlebury and Hancock (Middlebury Gap). From Hancock to the Middlebury College Snow Bowl ski area this road it all TORN up and rough. Very slow going. Not sure when that will be finished.
3: US Route 7 from Rutland to Dorset. Road is grooved and getting ready to be repaved. Doing it in sections. Right now from Rutland to just south of Wallingford is grooved and waiting for fresh pavement. Then they will do the section to Dorset.
4: VT Route 140 from Wallingford to East Wallingford. Just finished culvert work and will be repaving soon (I hope). From what I'm told this SHOULD be finished by July 2 (I live on this section of road).
These are projects I have found and driven on and I know there are more in my great state of Vermont. I'll post more as I find them. Hope this helps with route planning.
