I got my 04 FJR ready for sale (new 2014 coming) by taking off some stuff.

I have a Cox on my 2004 FJR and NEVER had a problem with it.

That's usually what I do as well. I do have LOUD horns on my 04 FJR and once I had a car drifting into my lane. I hit the horn and whoever was driving got a rude wake up call. And letting them know they were "#1" helped as well. Gotta love loud horns!!

Where did you buy the radiator guard from Tanker??

Thanks Art. Yes my wife will KILL me when she finds out about all the "farkles" I want to put on (loud horn, custom seat, rear shock, etc).

Sweet ride. My dealer is getting my 2014 in March (so he says). And nice John Deere as well. Mine is setting near my 04 FJR with it's snow blower also. What brand sleds?? Polaris and Rupp fro me.

I'm in the same waiting game as Bogus, my poor 04 is just sitting in the garage now that snow is on the ground in VT. I can't wait for my 14 to show up (in March the dealer told me). Did your 14 come with the saddlebag liners like my 04? Tom

Not a good summer for sure Rain Dancer. Glad you and your wife are OK. Hope your plans for fixing the FJR work out. I know I love mine but it's for sale now as I have a 2014 on order. Keep us posted on how the fix goes. Tom

Did you have to change anything on the Wilbers shock Gary? I'm thinking of doing the same thing with mine when the 14 gets here. Tom

bump Forgot to add that the bike comes with a service manual and it has the new design CCT installed.
