Has anyone retrofitted different amber light assemblies on their FJR or change the actual lens to increase visibility? I'm trying to increase the visibility of the bike duringt he day. I've thought of amber lights facing forward but I'm also trying to avoid getting smacked by the inattentive...
How my Harley that ran and handled like crap, didn't have a computer, tach or a clock had self canceling signals still baffles me...
and yes I rode today, around the island, can't even remember hitting 5th or even 4th gear for that matter
They passed you because you slowed down? If so that's what their intent was. It used to be folks around here liked to mock their cars up to look like UC cruisers until popping trunks looking for guns and ammo became popular. Seems looking like LE attracts the wrong attention.

I'm planning on using a pair of Rizoma LEDS up front and as supplements in the rear. They're available online from various sellers. Check out some of the youtube videos, they look sharp and bright.
Thanks for all the responses. I went with the Motovations. They fit perfectly and look great as well. Installation was also a breeze. Luckily I have no idea if they work yet :unsure:
Outside at night, I usually ride during the day, when it's at idle it flickers when the throttle is rolled on it doesn't. I usually ride during the day that's why I haven't noticed it until now.
Point well taken. I did a cursery inspection previously but I'll take a closer look and apply such grease while I'm at it. I'll also have to consider the ground spider solution, I assume I just purchase those home made kits under the group buys? Thanks.
It's the back lit panel not the characters. Can't really say as I just noticed it today, haven't really checked it out before. My ignition switch recall was completed last month.
