Hmmmm....now that reminds me...... why do Kiwis prefer making love to their sheep, on the edge of a cliff? :dntknw: 'cos the sheep tends to back up just that little bit more. :sheep:

A kangaroo is quite an experience. Much easier if you can hump them while they are on the move. Saves pushing the tail out of the way (if you know what I mean).

    Getting my FJR

won't the FJR be a bit "big" for KL? When I was there....400cc was the biggest bike I saw. A plethora of 125cc and 250cc...but nothing much bigger. Agree with concerns expressed so far. It's not a bike for newcomers. It will bite if you don't treat it right.

    FJR Mufflers

+1 for Dale Walker's Holeshot slip ons. Not OTT in loudness...but very noticeable. No drone at cruising speed either.

Cheers Fred..... It's just that, being away from home at the moment, there could be some worthwhile stuff at homehat I have forgotten about), that may not be FJR related. This is a great concept, that I have seen work very well on other forums. In those instances, the thread is 'live' all the...

Can I 'dibs" the can protectors? They would fit "Holeshot" cans wouldn't they? Happy to come to some arrangement re: freighting/postage to Australia. If successful....I won't be home for another 2 weeks. Will have to rummage around the garage and see what I can find. Does the PIF have to be...

FJR deal gone down the drain...

well...I see a VIN, a deposit (receipt) and a "Purchase" document. In Australia, that would be game, set & match. However, lately, I have heard a few car deals going this way, and the purchasers have screamed blue murder, threatening bad publicity, legal action etc etc....some of have been...

    Considering another FJR

Thanks FJRTEXAN, But I am looking at an 07+ model. The mileage on yours is certainly worth the consideration, but I have already seen a 2007 with 6k miles going for $US6900. Now that is tempting.

    09 IBR Ride Report

I've just started reading the report. BRILLIANT STUFF. And from down here...many thanks for dedicating the report to Davo. To see the photo's of him, to continue reading how much an influence (positive) that he was there....well it's simply heart warming. :drinks: On a side note.....one of...

    Considering another FJR

I appreciate the offers, but I would feel more comfortable on a bike that is solely my responsibility. I would hate to damage a bike that belongs to someone else. To damage my own scoot is unforgiveable, but I can live with the results of my own actions. I know there is always insurance...
