Gear changes on my '07 >4000rpm give the sensation of a hot knife through melted butter. In saying that, if you are hearing pebbles in an empty paint can noise...then there is only one thing to do. Dealership. Pronto.

Shad Topcase Group / Self Buy

A moment for clarification:The 'refelctor' on the 48 litre box, is actually cut and a panel of the reflector card is removed to accept the brake light assembly. The reflector card is not removed 'whole'. So...the light kit does not 'replace' the reflector entirely.

    PS3, X-Box 360, or Wii?

Our son's birthday was 6th October. When he finished work that day (6:00pm) he was given his birthday present - Halo 3 "Collectors Edition". By Monday evening (8th October), he had completed the game, albeit, it was not on the most difficult style. It took me over 3 months to complete the...

    PS3, X-Box 360, or Wii?

Sony have released a 'budget' PS3 in Australia. Smaller HD, not backwards compatible, and (IIRC) no USB capability. Our son has the Sexbox 360 at home, I scored the PS2 for me on the minesite. PS2 is chipped...so I have a library and a half of DVD's/CD's. I'm happy. The XBOX360 is...

Most Cost Effective Way To Purchase And Install Tires ?

In OZ, it's usually an 'included' price, so much so, that it just isn't worth the added time and stress removing the wheels yourself. Thommo, Thug, you guys have the same experience?

    Mad Ride

I participated in the MAD (Making Difference Ride) in Perth yesterday afternoon. The ride is a way to raise funds for Spinal Rehabilitation and research at a local hospital here in Perth. It all started 3 years ago, with 500 riders attending. Last year, 1500 riders showed up, and a raffle of a...

    Cbr1100xx Blackbird A Good Bike?

Have ridden a Blackbird ('06 and '07 models) several times. Excellent power delivery, very smooth. Long legs, sports riding position. Very good handling, sure footed. But from the Rear Seat Counter Weight: "The pillion seat is uncomfortable Dad, can we jump back on the FJ or the FJR?" It was a...
