    No low beam headlights??

Don't really need the HID's, the ballasts and the other drivers flashing me at night. These lights on the FJR with the PIAA bulbs give me better light than I have ever imagined on a motorcycle. I slow down at night riding because of all the forest rats. Thanks to all for the...

    No low beam headlights??

Yep, it was the bulbs, both blew at the same time. Picked up a pair of replacement PIAA's Extreme and the good news, they are guaranteed for one year. Retail 69.99 each!!@#^& for @&*@!# sake!! My friend in the parts department knocked off 20% which was nice, but that is just nuts!! How and...

    Banquet Seating!

A novel idea for assuring people mix, for sure, but the idea of having puzzles made seems bigger than bang. Most couples would prefer to sit together, and there are a some who won't have seen each other in a long while, I can think of a few, that I know would like to share a table with. So, I...

    Name Badges

Nice bit of brain storming Jeff, but my personal value for it would be over at the end of the rally.

    No low beam headlights??

That would be too simple, but that is where I will start. Both bulbs were functioning normally when rolled up to the garage door before I parked it. I'll pull the bulbs and have a look first, then start with the hi-beam switch, then see where it goes. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the...

    No low beam headlights??

My bike had been in the garage, not run for a month (winter) plugged into a trickle battery charger. I rolled it out and fired it up, the low beam headlights flashed on, then were off. The high beams work fine when I toggle the switch, but the low's stay off. I checked the headlight fuse, it...

    He will be sadly missed

This from the London Times....he will be sadly missed.. AN OBITUARY PRINTED IN THE LONDON TIMES FOR THE PASSING OF THE COMMON SENSE. Interesting and sadly true. 'Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, 'Common Sense', who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how...

    CFR 2009 Wait List

Oh, I worked in the OTTAWA valley in 1979, but I have lived in BC since 1980, so I must be a little rusty in the twang and temper of the Ottawa culture.

WFO 8 Location, Location, Location !!

Moscow Idaho....some sweet memories from the last one there. And some not so sweet, like the skunk on the road at 11.00 pm at nite as I cruised into Moscow. Nicked it with my front tire and it really stunk for the next few miles. Great roads, most deserted, but no fekkin mountains like that in...

    CFR 2009 Wait List

Pierre, I'M note sure you have made a point in your last post here. Jeff has put out a totally reasonalbe way of dealing with the 'Waiters' and it is first come first served. What could be more fair than that? And 48 hours to decide is pretty generous to boot. I am probably reading you wrong...

Group Ride - Vancouver to Nakusp?

On the Duffy Lake road, watch out for those heavy wooden timber bridges on corners!! A little moisture a couple of years back created a major pucker event when my rear tire stepped out about 8 inches, it felt like 3 feet. Nice road, but watch out it is rough.

Information on Nakusp Campground; So Very Efficient

This time of year the campground shouldn't be dusty, and you'll have if pretty much to yourself. It doesn't get busy until school is out. Great spot this is, camped there myself twice...love it!!

    Sponsorship

Don't think there is a Canadian Tire in Nakusp, maybe a the Co-Op!! And as far as sponsorship goes I am waiting on Andy White BC's Manager for sales to get back to me. I am sure we can get some SWAG from Yamaha. The hats at WFO were a hit in Reno and I am still trying to get some creative...

    CFR Rides

Ditto on what Dave said. The visual is critical. The last time I rode Kasey's Ride #3, I came off the ferry heading towards Vernon. No cars in front of me,( think you) for 25 minutes. Some very sweet twisties to be feasted upon. I rounded a corner to see a Cow Pie in the opposite lane...

My thoughts exactly Dave. Lets make it 120 and close the door. The extra 1500.00 won't hurt either.
