As you may have noticed, CFR 2009 is currently sold out.

Additional Registrations are being accepted and are being added to our Wait List in the order in which they are received.

When and if we receive a cancellation, the spot will be offered to the first player on the Wait List. He/she will receive an email with instructions on how to submit payment to confirm his/her attendance. He/she will be provided with 48 hrs from the time of the email was sent to make payment. If payment is not received via PayPal, (or alternate payment arrangements have not been made,) within 48hrs, the player will be removed from the Wait List and the next player on the Wait List will be offered the space. This process will repeat itself until a registration is corfirmed or there are no more players on the Wait List.

Please, for the benefit of others on the Wait List, if you add your name to the Wait List and subsequently determine that you will not be able to attend even if space becomes available, please advise the Registrar so that your name may be removed from the list.

Transfer Policy and the Wait List

While there is an active Wait List, if we are beyond the Registration Deadline of March 31st, 2009 and you wish to Transfer your Registration, then you must offer your space to the players on the Wait List. Contact the Registrar for details.

Edit: Edited to specify Registration Deadline.

Pierre, I'M note sure you have made a point in your last post here. Jeff has put out a totally reasonalbe way of dealing with the 'Waiters' and it is first come first served. What could be more fair than that? And 48 hours to decide is pretty generous to boot. I am probably reading you wrong, but since so many of us were waiters in the early years of FJRhood, it only seems reasonable a venue for a rally like this will have few waiters.

I don't think he is upset with the rules as set down....

He just wants you guys to make it June already.... :yahoo:

Geez, now you've gone and wrecked my personal stimulus plan. <_< I was gonna sell my spot to the highest bidder.

Just call me Blagojevich Jr. :big_boss:

ok I put smilie at the end of the post, for those of you who don't know me. Huron is correct, though it looks like I may have to watch my manners in BC; Ottawa humour is an acquired taste.... (opps need another smilie  )

Oh, I worked in the OTTAWA valley in 1979, but I have lived in BC since 1980, so I must be a little rusty in the twang and temper of the Ottawa culture.

Geezz... with all this political correctness going on, the effectiveness of my witty retort is greatly reduced :(

No worries Pierre, I took your comments as intented. ;)

Procedure for Confirmed Ontario residents "Waiting" for CFR:

- Go stick you head in a gopher hole and "Wait" for the snow to melt!

- Get on your FJR and follow the sun (repeat several times!)

:p

Eh?

I'm just wondering... Not trying to be a PITA, but what is limiting the registration to 120?? Also if I didn't get regestered, but wanted to be a wingman for a fellow MNFJRer, and went anyway. Would I just not be able to attend the social events??

Thanks in advance...

Small Town, small facilities! It's a physical space issue!

This is by design as CFR09 is intended to be a "boutique" rally.

Due to these limitations, however, we unfortunately will not be able to admit additional riders and/or pillions to CFR functions nor will we be able to extend CFR 'perks' and 'goodies'.

Anyone 'planning' on being in the area that weekend ;) , is encouraged to get on the Wait List. Cancellations do happen! B)

Hmm. That sure cut down the chatter on this event!!! No one is quite sure what to wear now... maybe the ladies attending can do up a suggested dress code?

 There's that ottawaian humour again! Lookin' forward to experiencing it in person! ;)

Forum activity seems to have slowed across the board (pardon the pun.) Must be the tax time crunch keepin peeps away! :)

Well I guess that is what I'm doing.... Bought that book for roads in BC but not sure I got a good deal on it. I'll just have to wait until I see the true bill.

No, not taxes.

Actually, since you asked, I was in the loo taking a dump........... found a good article in a magazine.

:p
