Very nice! I'm origionally from Bergen County NJ, used to go up that way all the time. 7 lakes drive was another favorite. Here in AZ theres some pretty rides as well but not the variety that you get. Like to see another video of the same area in late october! So beautiful with all the colors.

My bike in mixed riding always gets right around 40 mpg. HWY 51. As a rule, I dont let it go over 50 miles on reserve. Pushed it to 60 once and it still only took 5.8 gals so I still had over 1/2 gal left to play with.

No offense meant L2M, you obviously are an exceptional young man. It would normally take a least 40 years to develope such a fine sence of taste. ;)

Those sales people are a joke. I actually had one that told me he knew nothing about the bike when I was buying mine! I thanked him, and bought it after doing my own research.

YES YES YES, Been riding for 30 years and only owned cruisers before the FJR. with them, 70mph was a decent cruise speed and I rarely went much over. Fej, 80 - 85 always and much faster on occation. At 140, the Fej is more stable then anything I've ownned in the past at 70!!!

The only cure is going broke!!!

Had mine off a couple of times with no problem.. I dont use lock tight. I wonder if the lock tight is getting on the plastic a reacting with it to make it brittle.
