    getting the guts off

For dried on bugs I get an old bath towel, soak it in water and put it on the shield for 20 minutes or so. That loosens up most of the goo so it can be easily wiped off. Then I use Plexus to polish it up.

    Regional Meets

As far as SWFOG is concerned an informal poll was taken of people interested in the event. A date was chosen that best fit the needs of the people that wanted to come to the event. The range of dates offered in the poll was determined by the time of year when the weather isn't like what you...

    Prescott BBQ Event

Had a fun day heading up to Prescott for BBQ. Took the back roads up thru Wickenburg, Congress, Yarnell and into Prescott. Traffic was light so we made "good time". The BBQ festival was a busy place. Lots of good food to sample. The return trip took us thru Skull Valley toward Bagdad and...

As of 9-14 there are 26 riders/passengers and one dog coming to this event. When all of this first started I was hoping that...

    Garmin 2730 vs Zumo 550

My 2730 works very well. If the one you are looking at comes with the XM puck, that's a pretty good price. The screen is not the best in bright sunlight. I have had no problems with mine in a year of heavy use in my work van and on my bike. I used a Zumo once and it is a good unit but overall...

    Techmount GPS Mount

I have the 2.5" mount and I think if I did it again I would go with the 3.5" The 2.5" puts the gps pretty low causing me to look down farther than I would like. I am not sure how much one inch more would help but it would be better. (I am sure there will be comments on that last sentence...) b
