I guess those who have never been thru high mountain passes have no idea how much snow accumulates and how difficult and dangerous for for road crews to clear. This road has many cliff side drop offs with little or no barriers. A sequence of photos a year or two ago of the road crews clearing...

That's pretty early for "Going to the Sun" road. every year is different, tho, and this years light snowfall may mean an earlier opening. Go to the parks website and there will be information there.

We did the same with our ride in last April. Awesome experience, great tour and explanation of the process and best of all. A fantastic seat!

After 50 years of riding I get that there are all kinds of folks enjoying the 2 wheel experience, but i have no clue why looks mean jack **** to the experience. For me, and most of the guys I have ridden with, it is always function over form.

I also consider my RDL seats a thing of beauty. My 72 day ride last fall ( 17,727 miles) was an amazing adventure partly due to the ZERO discomfort on my seat.

I'm a bit interested. I love Nelson and the East Kootenays. Some very fine riding.
