I just got my RDL. Haven't ridden on it yet due to the snow. It definitely looks...different but I'll embrace it based on the functionality. I'm hoping for a whole new experience come spring time.
But then......After 50 years of riding I get that there are all kinds of folks enjoying the 2 wheel experience, but i have no clue why looks mean jack **** to the experience. For me, and most of the guys I have ridden with, it is always function over form.
This ^^^ is exactly what I was thinking! With a bike that ugly the seats really don't make that much difference.I think you got it all wrong. The seat looks great, it's the bike that's fugly. Kinda looks like something Beemerdons would ride. JSNS
Hehe, well I'll rephrase Debbie here...KJ, you're right...those seats are fugly. But look at it this way...they make that bike look much better.
Well, I guess the GT-Sports OEM one's?. That would be what Debbie has her comparison to (only), as she has not seen any Laam's, Corbins etc on my bike. I still got the OEM seats to appease her as she said she would never go riding on 'dem fugly ones."Fugly" is relative, Top Speed.Compared to WHAT?
You (horny) guys will always take her side, cuz, well... she has much more curb appeal than myself!Sorry KJ...gotta agree with Debbie, them seats fugly up a beautiful bike!

It would probably be this oneNow if KJ can only find a helmet that'll make HIM look better....
If you used that one, we'd be subjected to seeing you polish your helmet instead of your bike.It would probably be this oneNow if KJ can only find a helmet that'll make HIM look better....
Jeeze K.J. no wonder she's pissed at you. You could fit two of her (admittedly good lookng) butts in one of those seats. At least the drag will slow you down enough that I'll be able to keep up.
I thought John Deer tractors had yellow seats? They look much more like Deutz tractor seats to me. Ah German engineering at its finest!Did all you guys take your nice pills today or something? They look good KJ. Your butt will be happy on those long rides this summer, I'm sure!
I agree that my butt will thank me, but the seats still look like they should be on a John Deere.
