    another cruise control problem

My cruise has been acting up lately. Works sometimes and sometimes not. I opened up the control unit and used a heat gun for a while just in case there might be some moisture in it. I also cleaned the contact points between the buttons and the circuit board. I went on a little ride and...

Its a Ural, its a trip

Hi Geezer, you probably don't recall but you were the first person I talked to at WFO. If you are contemplating a trip North the best advice I can give is for you to purchase a copy of "The Milepost " . It will be the best 27.95 $ you have ever spent. To answer the camping question, we always...

Its a Ural, its a trip

Good one Radman, you being a mechanic will appreciate my problem . Rather then me trying to type all the info in you can just go to Larry's blog, he was my partner on the ride, and read From Aug. 6th to 11th and that will explain the problems. My face is still red. Visit My Website Mac

Just a couple of picture of the trip out

Thought I would add a couple more pictures of the Studebaker, it was a really neat old car . The owner had spent a lot of time on it and had done the engine overhall himself. He was quite proud of it and had to let me hear it run. It was so quiet and smooth you could hardly hear it. Mac

A few pictures of my trip to WFO . My first try so I will keep my fingers crossed. Here goes. This is an interesting gentleman from NewZealand that I met at a motel in Arco, Idaho. He and his wife were touring the US in a 1932 Sudebaker. They belonged to the Studebaker car club and shipped...

    Audiovox Cruise Control

I am really looking forward to the answers to this one. Mine is acting the same way. I set the #7 switch to off and then rode the bike and thought it was fixed. But another ride the other day and mine started dropping out again. I am riding an 07. Mac

    audiovox downhill

Thanks much, I set no. 7 to off today. I tried out the cruise but hard to tell if it fixed it here as it usually worked on the flat land, it was just when I got into the mountains that it started dropping out. Guess that calls for another trip out west this year to see if I have a fix...

    Best power outlet for cheap??

Why not use the dealer installed and fused cig. lighter in your glove box and run the power cord out thru the bottom of the box thru the hole already there. Cost's Nothing. Mac

    Powerport for GPS

Let me get this straight, you want to install a cig. power port on your bike instead of using the one already installed in the glove box. :dribble: One has to wonder why. Mac

Finding the right wire to tap into for GPS
