Oregon Gov's Advisory Committee on MC Safety

Just present it as a gas saving measure and "green" thing to do. The OR elected officials will stumble all over themselves to put their name on a Bill. The other Bill

    FJR as a tow vehicle!

Maybe its just me but I kind of like the looks of those. Probably wouldn't even know its back there and it sure would increase the carrying capacity. Bill

    Info on Chromeit heat shield

I did the left side also and noticed a definite improvement. Have not done the right side. By the way what happened to the Baker wings? I thought the company was going to develop brackets but nothing on their website. Bill

    Moto Guzzi V7 Classic

Gunny that. Had a KLR 650 for a couple of years for just that purpose and if it had 20 or 30 more horsepower, I probably would still have it. The Triumph Thruxton kind of has that classic cafe look, and I hear its a fun bike. For something that stands out though, its hard to beat a MG. Bill

Damn, the FJR has a flat tire, thankfully in my garage

Good one LDR- been there done that more than a few times. Have been lucky that it hasn't been on the side of the road yet. One time at work and a couple of times in the garage. I have used my stripped down 12 volt air compressor each time just to make sure it works. Thats exactly how you do it...

    Triumph speed triple

You can read all about the brakes here: https://www.thespeedtriple.com/Forums/index.php?topic=1252.0. I don't think its anything major, just something to ask about on a used bike. Bill

    Triumph speed triple

Bugnatr, I just bought an '07 and did some research over at www.thespeedtriple.com. S3's have been around awhile so the engine bugs are long gone. I think there was a factory fix for brake problems on the '06 though. From what I have heard and read they are great bikes. Be able to tell you more...

    A little warning...

Hi Ray, A friend of mine and I headed up the Clackamas to Estacata and back through Mollala and Canby. Good roads the whole way with no gravel. Even stopped by the Oregon City dealer and looked at the new '08 FJR they had in stock. Good day to be out and enjoy the sun. As the rest of you can...
