My regular riding buddy has one of these pups and I've put a few miles on his. It's an odd steed. Feels so awkward compared to normal street machines. Tall. Minimal protection. Feels like a big pricey dirtbike. If you're inseam challenged, NO WAY. Not my cup of tea. :argue:

There are plenty of online sources for these gems of almost any amperage. I got a boxed assortment via overstocks.com a long time ago and subsequently switched over to super cool LED fuses that illuminate when shorted. I don't think the LED ones come in 2 amp though... And, they're a bit taller...

So, is there early consensus that the storm performance is superior to the usual FJR goodies Avons? I want to confirm that before ordering a set... To early to tell?

I'm using these pups without any problems, but for a definitive answer call electrical connection. Their support is excellent. And, keep in mind not all Hitachi connectors are created equal. They come in different gauge sizes... so the size needs to be matched to the application. You clearly...
