I think it would look better if you got rid of the white squared area where it says FJR. The contrast of the checkered areas and the white throws it off somehow, just my opinion though.

You CAN have both. The RDL may be the best seat for 1,000 mile days but I never ride THAT much in a day. If there's a seat that will let me do 500 or so mile days in comfort I'd get that. Looks like the LAAM would suit me fine or maybe even that inexpensive SPENCER mod.

Lots of happy SPENCER seat mod owners on different cycle forums I've been to, and VERY reasonable prices. I just can't get used to the "look" of a Russell seat.
