Octane rating is simply based on the fuel's knock tendancy (also called pre-ignition or pressure induced self-ignition). Knock tendancy is based on free radicals present in the fuel prior to ignition. Octane is not a measure of power or energy but a measure of burn. Higher octanes can burn...

And don't forget, have the shipper label the parcel with "Motorcycle Parts". Motorcycle parts are not subject to duty when entering Canada.

Ya, big friggin deal. The averaged about 65 miles/hour, in a cage, with 2 spare homos to sub in. I did half their distance in half the time by myself, because I had to, with no planning. This isn't even worthy to mention in the same sentence as Iron Butt riding.

Aside from tire cupping causing vibes, I have never ever had any headshake in 4 years on the FJR. A "Headshake Issue"...I call ******** on that. Never heard of it aside from the odd person out of 100s or 1000s. Those are probably because of a loose steering head, under inflation, etc etc.

Although they lasted many miles, my stock front tire was a piece of crap (020s). They are prone to scalloping/cupping. Big difference with a pattern like on the PRs or what have you. The tread pattern on those 020s were put on by a monkey on LSD. They are so convoluted they cup faster than...

The FJR sucks. Don't buy it. Get something else.

I am a Canuck with an 04 and I think mine is a great bike. The 04 you are looking at has low mileage and a few extras. Insurance companies list the 04 at around $11000 right now in Canada. I don't know what banks list it at and I don't have a Blue Book...call your bank and ask if they will give...

Dakar riders and the likes use them. It is no GPS replacement when it is just a list/description of turning points that can be scrolled through.
