    Having a engine that dosen't surge, or feel like it's controlled by a on/off switch, should not have any effect on which ever catagory you care to put it in. Same with the slop in the driveline. Neither should add any weight, and make the FJR a better platform for what ever your riding style.

    Rad the mechanic

    OK, heres mine. I rebuilt a Kawasaki H2 engine, installed it, it fired up on the first kick. The kick starter stayed down, and wouldn't spring up. Dummy me, forgot to wind the spring.

    It's always in (3rd) gear and at 2500 rpm or less, every time. Why are you riding @ below 2500 in 3rd gear???
