I just found out my best friend in Hih School is a bum?

I am not sure I can get my head around the situation yet and wanted to see your thoughts. They said he had got strung out on Meth and has not been the same since he was introduced to the drug. My best bet is to see if there is a local homeless shelter where people know him and can give me better...

I just found out my best friend in Hih School is a bum?

I met up with his sisters at a bar and they told me the bridge he lives under. I did not know what to say and I would like to reach out to him but I guess I will need to find him first.

Need to find a glovebox for my 2006 AE in Cerulean Silver

When I spoke to the dealer the part was $300, when I looked on Fleebay I found one for the Gen 1 bikes at $139 but nothing for the Gen 2 bikes. In the perfect world I could find someone with a salvage bike looking to sell it to me. Any idea on where to look, thanks.

    Bag Liners

Here is a picture of my bags being used this last weekend when I got to my room. My Yamaha bags came with my bike and I use them all of the time and no issues.

Los Angeles/OC ride to Sedona, AZ for 4 days and 3 nights

Here are a few photos from the trip. We had a great time and it only took about 6 hours to make it back from Sedona with gas, food and a break along the way. Wind was kicking pretty good but I found the faster I went the easier it was on me and the bike. Other than having my key break in the top...

I am not sure we could ask for better weather this time of year. Should be a good ride.

Should I consider mounting a 3D video camera to my bike?

Not entirely true. YouTube and many others are getting set up to do 3D so you could see it on a regular monitor but with this video you would just need the glasses. The new Sony 3D video camera I was using yesterday has a huge view finder that shows you depth (Looks like you are watcing 3D on...

Should I consider mounting a 3D video camera to my bike?

I drove to Vegas this year to see the CES show and one of the coolest new items I saw (other than iPad tablet-mania and 3D TVs) was new 3D video and photo camera's that are going to be pretty affordable with some well under $250. I started reading more about this and asking questions as I think...

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

Remind me to tell you about a plan I am working on with BMW marketing. It involves a borrowed K1600GTL.

Sedona, AZ rides to Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest

Thanks, my favorite shot was the one of the golf course covered in snow with the flag stick. I guess I will not be bringing my golf clubs... Well, it looks awesome and I personally love riding in the winter. The weather this week shows the highs in the highs 40s and low 50s which is...

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

I am starting to see a trend and I am beginning to agree. She gets what she wants and I get what I want without a lot of extra time wasted. Hell if I do it right I might even be able to get my Saddle Sore out of it which by the way has been on my short list of things to complete this year.

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

You might be onto something. It would be cool to go after my Iron Butt at the same time? Hmmmm. That would only affect 4 of our 30 days. You got me thinking.

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

I will let you know what we come up with for sure. The cheapest option by far will be using "the boards" out of Fontana. My second option will be to get Conway to ship it. Both Chicago and Atlanta are head haul lanes and coming back they are back haul lanes meaning if you are not getting a...

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

I want it to be fun for her and I know what crossing AZ or NV in late August or early September looks like... Let's just say it is not going to be a good start to the trip even if we ride through at night. Papa has learned if he wants to have a wife that tours with him he needs to listen to the...

    And the communication revolution begins

I must say that I too am equally happy to hear that news and look forward to see what they come up with and how it works. I will contact them and see if they need a Beta tester.

What is the best way to transport my FJR from LA to Chicago?

Thanks guys and riding it is not totally out of the question, but 3-4 day there and 3-4 days back 2-up end up being about 25% of the time we have off. That time could be spent with family in GA or NC or tail of the dragon, or even in Washington DC touring our Nation's capital. You get the...
