My wife and I were just approved to take 30-days off in a row this year

Switzerland is quickly moving to the top as the place to go. Local knowledge would make this trip much better than anything I could come up with on my own. I will talk with my wife tonight and start looking into the costs of renting a bike for 3 weeks (1 weeks for travel back and forth). In a...

My wife and I were just approved to take 30-days off in a row this year

The Swiss Alps has come up a few times by different friends and I think I am going to start doing some research on it. I have ridden in Zurich, Switzerland but you cannot compare that to the Alps! This might be the trip... I would like to go on some more remote ride but my wife will be coming...

My wife and I were just approved to take 30-days off in a row this year

I have done the ride you mention above twice and it was amazing!!! Europe is very appealing because you can cover so much ground and yet see so many different lifestyles. I am not sure I want to venture out to Asia and New Zealand just yet with so much ground to cover in the states and Europe...

My wife and I were just approved to take 30-days off in a row this year

Thanks Simon! We have done 3 other rides in Europe and love what it has to offer. I also realize how much of the US we have not seen and we would love to see more of our National Parks? I was hoping you guys might help us decide.

My wife and I were just approved to take 30-days off in a row this year

Both my wife and I were approved to take off 30-days in a row this year and we agreed we would like to spend it on a bike touring. Problem: Do we ride in Europe or the US? We have ridden overseas 3-times now and covered ground in Italy, Spain, France, UK, Ireland ect... In the US we have done...

    Modular/Flip up Helmet

I have 2 modular helmets; the Shoei MultiTec and the Nolan 103. The Shoei is a great helmet and when I bought the N103 I found it to be much too loud. I would go with the Scorpion EXO 900.

    Tire Pressure Gauge

They have not supported them for some time now but the good news is they work great and i have had no issues since the install over 3 years ago.

    touring boots

Another vote for Daytona boots. They are waterproof and the best walking boot I have ever owned. I am sending them back this week to be resoled. The cost you ask? $125 for the resole but better than buying another pair. I bought the RoadStar GTX and got my wife the LadyStar which also lifts her...

    And the communication revolution begins

Autocom user here and very happy. It's expensive but when paired with the Zumo 660 it is one hell of a tool. https://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle-intercoms/autocom/

    Tire Pressure Gauge

It's not a very good shot my I use Smart Tire and I have it mounted on my bike. It's hard to see in the photo but it is just above the 70 degree temp on the top right. It is wireless out of the way and shows me both my tire pressure and internal heat temp for both front and rear. If the pressure...

    My new Russell Seat

It was really bad until I purchased the Penske Suspension. Once the bike was set up properly I have no issues pushing the bike even 2-up into the turns. Do they scrap? Hell yes, but the difference is night and day. I bought them from "he who shall not be named". Prior to the upgraded suspension...

    My new Russell Seat

The increase in height was one of the main reasons why I bought it. Together with the peg lower kit I can now fit this 6'5" body comfortably on my bike. Yes it raise you up higher but it is sounding like that might not be a good ting for you.

    BMW K1600GT & GTL

This is the first bike since my FJR that has me wanting one and lusting over the test ride at the long beach show. If it is as good as I think it is and the price is in the mid 20s then I am going to have one. The only thing that concerns me is the price I am seeing for the FJR on the used market.

    It's been fun

My wife and I were struggling for most of our life and it's wasn't until things got bad everywhere that our lives finally got good. We both love our jobs and have money to do what we want but we are putting most of it in savings just in case.

    Lightweight Winter Glove Recommendations

I have the Tourmaster Extreme but they are not flexible, my go to winter glove now is my warm and safe heated gloves.
