Bought the 07AE yesterday and have a few questions?

Low Balling is a common tactic used to fight potential customers that are calling around playing one dealer against another. They get you to drive a distance (the further the better) and then state that they must of made a mistake. It costs them nothing and you have now invested a few hours and...

    Fork oil changing-anyone tried this?

I think a guy with some wrench experience could do it in 3 to 4 hours first time out. A good mechanic less than 2 hours. I could waste a day at it, but that would include a few hours on the forum and coffee and lunch and a trip to the local Yamaha shop.

DO NOT SEARCH GOATSE. Wiki def Rad you are a sick puppy. Yes, back to the thread... I recall recent pictures here of a very clean Busa too.

    Turbo Busa video

She should change her name to Unobtainium. back to the thread... I would think the guy could do a little better on the armor and suit. That perf Vanson is cool and cool looking, but God help him if he needs it.

    overheating

I did the coolant flush and only get 2 bars mostly, but the frame near the steering head is too hot to touch after a brief ride (on low fuel.) Is that normal? Maybe my system has air in it?

    Ohlins Shock Installation on 2004

I just completed the same installation. At the FJRinfo site they used a ladder to prop up the tail but this tail raising rig is shown for your approval. No need for a hoist of other set-up. Just like raising a sailing mast. It is hooked on the front fairing support and to my Givi rear rack...

    overheating

Do you know the bike history? When was the last coolant flush? I just flushed my bikes system, and it runs cooler. Search with the word overheating. 3-4 bars is normal iirc. Welcome to the nut-house.

Hauling an FJR in Ford 150 PU Truck ?

Watch out for the top lip of the bed hitting the front tip of the fender depending on the bed. The fender extends further than you might think. Getting it in is easy, but backing down the ramp is another. Take the side boxes off just in case you mess up. Don't tie it down so tight as to bottom...

    Gen I Hayabusa gone wrong

Sure, the blue '05 FJR behind the Busa trike rear left tire with the heavy guy with a yellow tie holding his crotch. He has to be one of ours! Upon further review I think it is a yellow tee shirt with a black jacket. Fess up someone.

Okay, I'm showing my ignorance here.

I just wanted to be able to read this without the visual effects. I will try to answer your question now that I have washed out my eyes to get rid of you avatar images. One Flylooper is enough. [Maybe somebody can explain how these throttle issues manifest themselves.] The stock throttle...
