I have a klx250s and a drz400sm. Both fun bikes. With a 29" inseam I've had to slide my butt to the left on most the bikes I've ridden. Not a big deal. The klx250s seat is pretty tall but I have more trouble getting off of it then riding it. ;)

The lesson here is ... if you are following other cars onto freeway don't assume they will merge as expected for a minute. Do your head check of approaching traffic that are on the freeway well before you have to worry about what the drive in front of you will or will not do. We've got many...

My FJR will be 4 years old next week. First thing I put on that bike while it was still being put together at the dealer was Kisan HMs. Got headlight modulators on the CBR929 & DL1000 as well. Works for me.

A stock klx250s will get 70+ mpg. Used ones are normally souped up a bit (exhaust, rejetting, etc.) My 06 gets 54 mpg with a Muzzy full exhaust and all that entails. :)

What's your gas mileage on that beast? I'm getting 44 mpg around here on the FJR and get 48-50+ in the mountains.
